Jenny Albro holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on early childhood education and an M.A. in Holistic Education from Johnson University. She received an M.A. in Reading Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is currently pursuing a PhD in Literacy, Language, and Social Inquiry from the University of Maryland, College Park. She taught lower elementary for three years and was a reading interventionist for upper elementary for two years in the Kansas City metro. She is eager to support teachers to empower them to engage families in literacy.
Taylor Stitt earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from Rockhurst University and is currently working to complete an M.Ed. in Literacy Education from the University of Central Missouri. She has taught for four years in the Belton School District as a fifth grade teacher. She is passionate about engaging her students in literacy and partnering with families to support them.
Elizabeth Sites received her B.A. in Elementary Education from Wake Forest University, and her M.Ed. in Reading Education from the University of Virginia. She is a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy. She taught kindergarten and first grade for 6 years in North Carolina and Virginia, and helped with the digital literacy initiative at her school, including a leadership and mentor role to other teachers with 1:1 iPad classrooms. She is passionate about supporting and empowering families and teachers to promote literacy.
